A short break

Just a quick update to announce that there shall be a hiatus in proceedings while I get to know my daughter Jessica, who arrived last Monday. In fact, the figure below was being painted almost until the point that we jumped in the car to head off to hospital (and is also a clue as to the current unit being worked upon).

Every now and again I can usually pick a figure in my army and remember what I was doing the day I painted them and this chap will be a special one.

I'm presently in a 4hrs on, 4 hrs off existence of a deep sea fisherman and track of days and time is only just returning, I even managed 2 hrs painting last night just to prove to myself that the painting desk will not be completely neglected in this new chapter.

I shall return soon.

All the best

  1. Well, congratulations.

And don't worry, you'll find some time to paint, even though not as much as before ;)
