Landsknecht Headswaps

I had a few spares left over from the Perry WOTR boxed set, mainly arms but also a few heads, some of which I thought could work on Landsknecht bodies.

I have to say I'm quite pleased with the results; the visored sallet and bevor in particular looks good on the pikeman advancing. The others seem to add a nice Italianate touch to the standing figures, what do you think?

  1. Nice work Stuart on the conversion work.

As a novice painter I like the paints you use. What range are they from please?

    Thanks for the photos,

    Helen

  2. Hello Helen

The paints I use are from Wargames Foundry, they're not cheap but well worth the cost.

Cheers, I'm quite pleased with them, particularly the visored sallet. I'm very much looking forward to the forthcoming mercenaries boxed set, hopefully there will be a couple of new heads to use. What's on your painting table at the moment?

  6. Stuart,
Had an enforced break, due to minor eye op. Now working on command bases for both armies for battle of Northampton game, planned for July. Should be blogging this weekend with first one.
    Simon.
