I think mixing in a few in older style jacks and breast plates is fine. Have you thought of sculpting any with a jack, brigandine or breastplate worn over the base coat - that would be a nice variation?Olihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06796318659076787601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8296202536185481186.post-32757838141606398102016-08-02T11:34:11.135-07:002016-08-02T11:34:11.135-07:00Stunning work indeed Stuart !Stunning work indeed Stuart !Dalaupprorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05292614404943521842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8296202536185481186.post-91132623731909513882016-08-02T04:40:42.839-07:002016-08-02T04:40:42.839-07:00Ditto... that's about as far away from plast...Ditto... that's about as far away from plasticine and banana oil as it's possible to get...! :o)Steve-the-Wargamerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07077311120172727690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8296202536185481186.post-19880304426102313832016-08-02T02:17:25.017-07:002016-08-02T02:17:25.017-07:00An excellent blog post, which reflects the amount ...An excellent blog post, which reflects the amount of thought, time and effort that goes into you Tudors.
At least the moulding of the heads has saved some time - which you'll now use up rebasing figures!
We should have more enlightening discussions in pubs!!
Simon.paintermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07649916816073878873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8296202536185481186.post-42999472963601351132016-08-02T00:12:13.440-07:002016-08-02T00:12:13.440-07:00Inspirational and educational. Really outstanding work.

Creating a unified look for an army that has built up over several years as ones knowledge and techniques develop is a real challenge. I think your plan to rebase to a common theme and mix in some newer figures in coats sounds like the ideal solution but it is a bit soul destroying to have to break up bases that are already completed to such a high standard.Nathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03835786139833010048noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8296202536185481186.post-51296778061811532752016-08-01T19:00:39.229-07:002016-08-01T19:00:39.229-07:00Very impressive effort! You'll need an awful lot of Ansar for that I've bought them to be highlanders /Irish it's a useful kit.
Best Iain caveadsum1471https://www.blogger.com/profile/02174163740406928172noreply@blogger.com
