Sir Richard Carew

I thought you might like to see the painted result of the conversion previously mentioned; here we have Sir Richard Carew, captain of the Calais garrison at the time of the 1513 invasion, a fitting noble to have a little extra time lavished upon.

I have been fortunate to have found what I think is his standard and i'm still doing a bit of reading as to his background and participation in the campaign. I also have a few more conversions for his unit which i'm presently working upon to hopefully make it a decent command group, more of these soon.

  1. Wonderful!! Absolutely top notch conversion and paintwork - the final group will be fantastic.

  2. Very good work !

    Best regards dalauppror

    1. Cheers,it's definitely a confidence thing, I never used to even consider sculpting but as you say you just have to start the ball rolling and it's seeing splendid efforts such as yours that get that impetus going so thank you too !
